Our history.

Our journey is driven by quality and dedication. Discover how we’ve grown to bring the best to your table.

At Master's Touch®, our story is deeply rooted in the rich lands of Sinaloa and Sonora, where two visionary families laid foundation for what would become a leading partnership in agriculture.

The visionary beginnings

Our Heritage

Our journey began with the entrepreneurial vision of Don Francisco Echavarría Rojo and Don Enrique Mazon Lopez. Don Francisco, an alumnus of the University of California, Davis, initiated his agricultural ventures in the 1940s, focusing on tomatoes and chickpeas for international markets.

Don Enrique, with a natural talent for business, founded the Mazon Group, becoming a stalwart in construction, commercial enterprises, and notably, agriculture. His innovations, particularly in irrigation, transformed the arid landscapes of Hermosillo into fertile lands, a testament to his foresight and dedication to agricultural advancement.

“One must have spirit and a vocation for service.”

— Don Enrique Mazon

Strategic Growth and Diversification

The seeds for NASE were planted in 1994 under the leadership of Don Ernesto Echavarría Salazar, son of Don Francisco. We initially focused on round and cherry tomatoes in the Vizcaíno Valley. Recognizing the importance of diversification early on, we expanded our portfolio to include Roma tomatoes, bell peppers, and even ventured into grape tomatoes.

In 2000, our commitment to sustainable and organic agriculture was officially certified, establishing us as one of the world’s premier organic crop producers. Our ambitions grew, and by 2002, we quickly became a leading pecan producer in the region. This era was marked by a bold expansion that not only increased our crop variety but also our geographical footprint.

Leadership and Innovation

In 2013, a pivotal year, leadership transitioned to Roberto Mazon Caballero, ushering in a new era of innovation and expansion. Roberto’s leadership was marked by strategic diversification into shrimp farming and the launch of Unión Energética del Noroeste in 2017, our renewable energy venture aimed at sustainable energy solutions.

Our Future Vision

As we look to the future, Master’s Touch®️ remains committed to our founding vision of innovation and community support. We continuously explore new technologies and practices that will propel us forward in sustainable agriculture. Our goal is not only to be a leader in the industry but also to be a steward of the environment, ensuring we leave a positive legacy for future generations.
